Creating Discounts and Promotions in Webflow

June 21, 2024

Ensure you have a functional e-commerce store set up in Webflow before creating discounts. If you're new, create a Webflow account, select an appropriate e-commerce plan, set up your product catalog, and configure payment and shipping settings.

Create discount codes by logging into your Webflow dashboard and selecting your e-commerce project. Go to the e-commerce settings and select the Discounts tab. Click on New Discount. Choose the discount type, such as percentage, fixed amount, or free shipping. Set the discount amount and specify usage conditions. Decide if it applies to all products or specific items. Set an expiration date to create urgency, enter a unique discount code, and save it to make it available for customers.

For automatic discounts, return to the Discounts tab and click on Automatic Discounts. Add a new automatic discount, selecting if it applies to all products, specific categories, or individual items. Set the discount type and amount, and define rules such as minimum spending requirements. Save it and the discount will apply automatically at checkout.

Promote your discounts by updating website banners, sending promotional emails, and sharing posts on social media. Write about the promotions on your blog and collaborate with influencers to expand your reach.

Monitor the performance of your discounts by checking analytics and sales data in your Webflow dashboard. Look at metrics like new customers acquired and revenue generated from discounts. Use this data to refine your discount strategy for future promotions.

Implement these steps to enhance customer engagement and drive sales through Webflow discounts and promotions.
