Connecting Webflow Enterprise to Salesforce for Lead Management

March 22, 2024

To connect Webflow Enterprise with Salesforce for lead management, start by ensuring your Salesforce account is ready. You must have administrative access to create connections and a properly configured Lead object.

Next, set up your Webflow forms. Log into your Webflow account, open your project, and navigate to the desired page. Add a Form block and customize it with fields like Name, Email, and Phone Number. Set up a success message for users who submit the form.

Now, create a Zap in Zapier to link Webflow and Salesforce. After logging into Zapier, click "Make a Zap." Use "Webflow" as the Trigger app and select "Form Submission" as the trigger event. Connect your Webflow account to Zapier using your API key and select your specific site and form.

Configure an action in Salesforce for when a lead is captured. After setting up the Webflow trigger, add an action step in Zapier, selecting "Salesforce" as the Action app. Choose "Create Record" or "Create Lead" depending on your needs, then connect your Salesforce account to Zapier. Map the fields from your Webflow form to the appropriate Salesforce fields.

Test the integration by filling out your Webflow form as a test lead. Use Zapier's "Test Trigger" to confirm that it retrieves the submission successfully. Check Salesforce to ensure a new lead is created with the test data.

Once satisfied with the test, activate your Zap by clicking "Turn on Zap." This ensures that every form submission automatically creates a corresponding lead in Salesforce.

Finally, monitor your integration. Regularly check Salesforce for data accuracy and use reporting tools to analyze the leads generated. Adjust your marketing strategies as needed to optimize results. This integration will streamline your lead management, saving time and improving data accuracy.
